Mercedes is 17 days old today but it seems like she's been with us for at least a month or so. Becoming parents for the fist time has been great! We're just trying to adjust to the new schedule (or the lack there of) with a newborn but we are just absolutely in love with our little baby girl. My recovery is going smoothely, with the exception of a couple of bumps along the way... Mastitis, which I am trying to recover from at the moment. I'm just going to post an array of pictures, enjoy!

Absolutely adorable! Can't wait to meet her!
Oh I just LOVE her. She came to such wonderful parents! I'm so happy for you guys.
I'm so so so sorry about the mastitis, Kenz!!!! I hope you didn't get it too bad. The first time I got it was worse than any sickness I've ever had (more like every bad sickness combined into one PLUS a red, sore boob.) but the other times haven't been as bad, thank goodness.
I'm glad your recovery is going well other than that! You look great in all your pictures. :) Oh, and for us personally, we felt like it was "normal" having a baby and being parents when he was 3-4 months old. :) Everyone's different... but I felt like I had a handle on nursing, I was used to planning for things with a baby, etc. Haha, now it's just natural to take the diaper bag and get Brady ready, but we missed church completely when he was brand new b/c we underestimated the time it took to get him ready, when he'd sleep, when he'd want to eat, when I should be fully dressed or ready to feed him, getting the diaper bag.... I mean just tons of little things!
... I tend to be long-winded at times. :) Love you!
Thanks for the update, Kenz. She's so beautiful and I miss you both. Call me if you want a 'strega nona' cure for mastitis.
